DO YOU KNOW YOUR HAIRSTYLES? Feathered Cut - Soft DO YOU KNOW YOUR HAIRSTYLES?

Feathered Cut - Soft, finely layered ends that create a light, feathered appearance.
The Corkscrew The Look: Smaller, tighter circumfe The Corkscrew

The Look: Smaller, tighter circumference, think the width of a pencil or a straw.
The Science: Dense packing of curls that creates a lot of natural volume but is highly prone to tangling.
The Styling Goal: Clumping & Separation.
Student Tip: Apply products to soaking wet hair. If the hair starts to "frizz" while you're styling, you need more water, not more product.
Key Tool: A wide-tooth comb or just your fingers. Avoid fine-tooth combs once the hair is wet, or you'll lose the curl pattern.
